Mo's Asian Style Wings

For this year's Fourth of July I made my famous sticky Asian style wings. With each bite you can taste the ginger, garlic and sweetness of honey. These are a must try, they will be a hit at your next bbq or party.

Mo's Asian Style Wings

Ingredients

3 lb package of chicken wings (remove tips and cut wings in half at joint)
cup of low sodium soy sauce
2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
1/2 - 1 cup of honey
2 tsp red pepper flakes
juice of two limes
2 tsp minced ginger
4 cloves of garlic
juice of one orange
1 packet of sazon

Directions

Place all ingredients in blender and blend. Place chicken wings in a plastic zip bag and then in a shallow dish (to prevent leakage in refrigerator). Pour marinate over wings, squeeze air out and seal bag. Distribute marinate to insure each wing is covered and refrigerate over night.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place wings on a large foiled lined baking sheet in a single layer. Baked for 1 - 1 1/2 hour. Pour remaining marinade in a small sauce pan to reduce to a nice Asian glaze. Remember to turn for even browning and baste with glaze. Serve with an Asian slaw. Don't be cute eating them, manners go out the window. They are finger licking good!
